If you are fit and experienced then this one is a perfect walk for you.

We walk 23.5km return from the Perth Hills Discovery Centre to Helena Campsite via Ball Creek Campsite, led by Foundation volunteers.

We walk past flowing creeks, through mixed jarrah forest and wandoo forest and also take a break at the Helena campsite with amazing views from high up the valley.

This walk is for experienced and fit walkers. The pace on this walk is generally faster and the breaks somewhat shorter than intermediate style walks. If you have any doubts please consider booking on an intermediate walk.

Hi Everyone…I have a deep love and respect for nature and all places wild and a keen interest in our native plants. I’ve almost completed my sectional E2E…and savoured every moment of this amazing track and the wonderful community of people it brings together. Some of my other adventures have included the Overland Track in Tassie, the Annapurna and Everest Regions of Nepal, the Carr Boyd Ranges in the Kimberley…and a ‘once in a lifetime’ sail to Antarctica on a 100 year old Dutch Tall ship. Hi folks. I have been with the Foundation since 1997, when I first joined as a member and maintenance volunteer. I wanted to get involved in the ‘new’ Track after getting terribly lost on the ‘old’ Bibbulmun Track. From there I began leading walks and then came on staff in the office in 1999 as Events Manager and Lead Guide. I love walking and have done a few end-to-ends. I really get a kick out of sharing this passion with everyone. I am still a volunteer and look after Nerang Campsite. Come and join me on this event!
