This walk, featured on the ABC TV show Backroads, is set in the beautiful Blackwood district. Spend Friday night in Balingup before being transported 40kms south for two full days of walking with only your day pack!

No big heavy packs and even just a touch of glamping on Saturday night at our private Track-side campsite complete with flushing toilet and a hot shower!

Your backpack will contain your lunch, a jacket and water but your food, clothes, stove, tent, sleeping mat and sleeping bag will be waiting for you to set up at our private camp. We head back to Perth Sunday afternoon after having explored a lovely section of the southern jarrah forests.

The best part of booking an event with us is that all profits go back to the maintenance of the Bibbulmun Track – you should be proud!

  • Trained and experienced Bibb Track guides.
  • Convenient return bus transfers from Murdoch Park’n’Ride.
  • Twin share accommodation on Friday night in Balingup.

Hi there, Isabel here. I’ve been a member since 2004 when I walked the Track end-to-end in the wettest August ever! I am also a maintenance volunteer looking after Frankland River Campsite near Walpole. I love being a volunteer guide and being able to share my passion with others.

Hi folks, I have been a member with the Foundation since 1999 and became a volunteer guide after participating in the Walk with Dad event many years ago. See you out there!

Hi, I have been bitten by the hiking bug and enjoy anything from a leisurely jaunt to a multiple day hike through our wonderful bush. I have enjoyed walking and hiking interstate and overseas and feel so lucky to have the Bibbulmun Track as a fantastic escape to nature right on our doorstep.
I’ve managed several end-to-ends and have enjoyed many stretches on multiple occasions. I have met a number of wonderful people along the way and hope to be able to experience walking with you soon.
