  • Gregory Brook Campsite

    Location: North of Brockman Highway

    The Gregory Brook Campsite toilet is undergoing replacement. There will be temporary disruption to the existing toilet site. A portable toilet will be provided for walkers during the construction period. The shelter and water will remain available during the construction period.

    Walkers should be aware of construction vehicles and other traffic in the area. For your safety adhere to and follow all signage and instructions from Parks and Wildlife and construction staff.

  • Campfire bans

    Location: All campsites in this section

    Campfires are permitted at Gregory Brook campsite between 6pm - 10am.

    Please note that campfires are prohibited at any time of year at Blackwood campsite.

    On certain days, a total fire ban will be in force where walkers are not permitted to light a fuel stove either. For information about locations of current total fire bans call 1800 709 355 or visit  www.emergency.wa.gov.au/.

  • Mice problem

    Location: South of Balingup

    Walkers should be aware that there is significant problem with mice at Blackwood Campsite. 

    Hang food away from walls and uprights, and use your tent instead of staying in the shelter to avoid a sleepless night. 

    Mice have been reported to be active before dark and throughout the night.

  • Timber harvesting - Gregory Brook

    Location: South of Balingup

    Timber harvesting is being carried out around and north of Gregory Brook campsite. The Bibbulmun Track will be affected for 1.2km along Camp Creek Road. There is no diversion in place.
