Diversion due to destroyed bridge – Donnelly River Village

Location: Between Boundary Rd and Donnelly River Village (DRV)

The Bibbulmun Track is closed for 7.9km due to a destroyed bridge across the Donnelly River close to DRV.

A 5.6km diversion is in place along Willow Springs Road.

The diversion is partially shared with the Munda Biddi Trail and walkers should watch for cyclists. It also uses gravel roads which may be used by vehicles.

The original route will remain closed for several months until declared safe and a new bridge is built.

For your safety DO NOT enter any closed trail. Stay on the marked diversion and follow all signage or instructions from Parks and Wildlife and other staff. Walkers should be aware of maintenance vehicles and other traffic in the area.
