Join the Bibb Track experts on a captivating long-weekend journey featuring breathtaking views from the summit of Mt Cooke.

This three-day trek navigates splendid wandoo and jarrah forests, commencing near Gringer Creek campsite and proceeding north through the expansive open flats characteristic of a wandoo forest, and then the immensely biodiverse jarrah forest.

The first day entails very gentle undulations and, despite being the longest, maintains a relatively easy terrain. Crossing the Serpentine River, we reach Nerang Campsite next to a stream forming part of the Canning River headwaters.

Transitioning from the wandoo forest, on day two, our route ascends the rugged southern slopes of Mt Cooke, offering sensational vistas to the south, east, and west.

We camp out under the stars again and warm ourselves by our lovely campfire.

Our journey concludes after traversing Sullivan Rock, allowing for a leisurely return home a little after midday, revitalized and prepared for the approaching workweek.

Covering distances of 17km on the first day, 13km on the second, and approximately 7km on the last, this three-day expedition is a splendid way to make the most of the WA Day long weekend.

This trek is also an ideal opportunity for sectional End-to-Enders looking to complete missing segments.

Hi guys, I have been a member since 2009 when I started my sectional end-to-end. Since then, I’ve enjoyed many hikes on the Bibbulmun Track as well as tracks in Tasmania, NZ and Europe. I love the diverse experiences hiking can give you and I am looking forward to sharing my passion for it with you.
