Kids grow up so quickly and before you know it, they have flown the nest!

Savour this time by creating as many wonderful memories together as possible. Our Walking with Dad and Walking with Mum weekends have been thoughtfully considered so they are enjoyed by parents and kids (8-13yrs) alike.

Together you will enjoy two walks through the magnificent jarrah forest and camp overnight at a Bibbulmun Track campsite. Here you will learn bush and camping skills from our experienced guides and perhaps enjoy some marshmallows roasted over the fire.

These events are guaranteed to be fun, fun, fun with long lasting memories for you all.

The perfect opportunity to get outdoors with your kids.

Book early – places fill quickly!

Tony did a great job explaining what to expect. Great equipment that we could borrow. Tony & Jim were fantastic guides and very patient with the kids. They were only too keen to impart their knowledge. I now feel confident to take the kids on the Bibbulmun Track by myself. Andrew – participating dad.

Includes trained guides, map, comprehensive planning night, trip preparation manual and equipment hire. BYO food. We have organised return transport for from Murdoch Park’n’Ride rail terminal.

The price stated is for one adult and one child. An extra child per booking is welcome provided there is space. Max two kids per adult.

A great way to experience track walking and camping with little experience and without having to buy expensive equipment. It's inspired us to do more of it and has also given us some confidence to do so. Kim - participating dad.

Hi everyone. I have been member of the Foundation since 2016, after my family and I had been walking various parts of the Track and we were considering an end-to-end walk together. I still haven’t completed my end-to-end walk but aim to do so in the future. As a keen hiker, I have walked and hiked several trails in Australia and overseas. My aim as a volunteer guide is to introduce people to the Track - making it an enjoyable, exciting and memorable experience whilst also sharing some of my experiences as a maintenance volunteer with the Bibbulmun Track Foundation. It is a great pleasure to be able to be outdoors and connect with nature and people.

In 1999 I read in the Sunday Times an article about the Bibbulmun Track and I walked a section. I joined the Foundation in 2003 and walked solo from North to South between October and November. Since then I have endeavoured to do a major trek every two years. As a guide I hope to encourage others to love the environment.
