This is a three-day expedition for teenagers, camping out and experiencing the fun and camaraderie of being in and connecting with, the bush and with others their age.

Along the way, guides will present them with some mental and physical challenges.

Stimulate their minds and bodies, get them away from the X-Box and PlayStation and tackle Nature Deficit Disorder.

Participants have the opportunity to qualify for the bronze or silver Duke of Edinburgh Award program as part of this event. Visit The Duke of Edinburgh Award program for general information about the program.

Includes return transport ex Murdoch Park'n'Ride, Track map, comprehensive planning night, trip preparation manual, equipment hire and experienced guides. BYO food (advice given). Ages 13+.

Hi folks. I have been with the Foundation since 1997, when I first joined as a member and maintenance volunteer. I wanted to get involved in the 'new' Track after getting terribly lost on the 'old' Bibbulmun Track. From there I began leading walks and then came on staff in the office in 1999 as Events Manager and Lead Guide. I love walking and have done a few end-to-ends. I really get a kick out of sharing this passion with everyone. I am still a volunteer and look after Nerang Campsite. Come and join me on this event!

Hi all, I have been a regular user of the Track ever since the realignment and have walked end-to-end both ways plus many sectional bits. As well as enjoying introducing people to the Track as a volunteer guide I also help to maintain it by looking after Mt Wells campsite and a section of Track each side. I love being out in the bush and the Track facilities make the wilderness experience much easier and more enjoyable. I often walk, tramp or ramble in other parts of Australia and elsewhere but it’s always a pleasure to be back on the Bibb especially in spring when the wildflowers rival any I have seen anywhere else.

During the week a mild mannered public servant who will take any opportunity to get out on the Track, it’s a far better existence than my previous life sent deep under the Worlds Oceans - the scenery not great!! I have been walking the Track now for 15 years and have completed a sectional end to end a few years ago I also am a maintenance volunteer for the Mt Cuthbert and Mt Vincent sections.
