Today we walk 16.5km return from the small settlement of Peaceful Bay to the Irwin Inlet. 

The walk follows the trail north out of the village and then toward the inlet to the east.

It is characterised with an undulating sandy trail in most parts but also passes through a lovely small peppermint woodland near the shores of the inlet.
