Unwind on a serene warm evening by the light of a full moon.
Join us on a casual 9km return walk through beautiful mixed jarrah forest to a large granite outcrop, the perfect location to enjoy a picnic, a glass of wine and watch the setting sun and the rising full moon.
Very informative, learnt something new about the bush, stars, planets also my night vision. Great hike having fun along the way.
You’ll be walking back by the light of the moon on some uneven terrain, so you need to be reasonably fit, have had some previous Bibbulmun Track experience and be confident with walking in the dark with a torch. 1 ¼ hr from Perth. Food and beverages not included.
Fantastic evening laying down on the warm rocky surface while watching the night sky. A super night, eating under the stars ! Certainly was a superb walk topped with the picnic and walking back blind.....lol [in the dark by moon light]. Its the first time I have managed to get my daughter away from her computer. She enjoyed it so much she wants to go on the next one in March. Well done!!!! Thanks to all the leaders too.

- Your Event Guide/s:
Hi folks. I have been with the Foundation since 1997, when I first joined as a member and maintenance volunteer. I wanted to get involved in the 'new' Track after getting terribly lost on the 'old' Bibbulmun Track. From there I began leading walks and then came on staff in the office in 1999 as Events Manager and Lead Guide. I love walking and have done a few end-to-ends. I really get a kick out of sharing this passion with everyone. I am still a volunteer and look after Nerang Campsite. Come and join me on this event!
Hi everyone, I have been a member since 2009 when I completed an end-to-end through June and July. This inspired me to continue walking. Since then I’ve enjoyed many hikes short and long across the world like; NZ’s Great Walks, the Tour de Mont Blanc, and The Haute Route across the Swiss Alps. I look forward to many more. I hope to see you out there. The Bibbulmun Track is unique and I’d love to share my knowledge of it with you.
