Bibbulmun Track Foundation members are invited to a Member's Enviro Night - Environment and Identity: the Track connection.
This is a great opportunity to meet other members and hear from two passionate authors sharing their knowledge of the south-western corner of Western Australia’s environment and more.
Janet Paterson the Walking Scientist.
A scientist, writer and hiker with an incessant curiosity about the workings of the natural world. In September 2019 Janet embarked on a solo hike of the Track and recorded science stories along the way as she chatted to the extraordinary and unique animals, plants and fungi in this corner of the world.
Thomas Wilson author of Stepping Off: Rewilding and Belonging in the South-West.
A book for locals and travellers alike. It is the story of the south-western corner of Western Australia: an environmental history, a social history, an invitation to reconnect with the land – and in doing so, to reconnect with ourselves.
Both authors’ books will be available for sale on the night, as well as Bibbulmun Track Foundation merchandise (no cash sales – card only).
Finger supper along with tea/coffee will be provided for all. There will also be a cash bar for those who wish.
You must be a member to make a booking, but you can also buy a ticket for your non-member partner. Just book for two people instead.
This is a member’s event and bookings are essential for everyone attending. Tickets are strictly limited!
Maximum two tickets per member.
