Booking Form

This is a great opportunity to meet other members and hear from a passionate author sharing his knowledge of the south-western corner of Western Australia’s environment and more.

Leigh Simmons the author of Naturalist on the Bibbulmun: A walking companion, will be sharing his 1000km journey along the Track and promoting his book, part field guide, part travelogue, part love song to the Southwest region of WA, you’ll be enchanted by Leigh W. Simmons’s documentation of plants, animals and Noongar seasons.

Naturalist on the Bibbulmun is the story of one man’s journey with his son through this ancient and extraordinary corner of the world. The biodiversity is so extensive that it is impossible to provide a comprehensive field guide to the Bibbulmun Track. Nevertheless, the author musters his expertise in ecology and evolutionary biology to document the animals and plants found during the Noongar seasons of kambarang and birak, from November to January, with colour photographs throughout.

Books will be available for sale on the night, as well as Bibbulmun Track Foundation merchandise (no cash sales – card only).

Finger supper along with tea/coffee will be provided for all. There will also be a cash bar for those who wish.

Tickets are strictly limited!

Maximum two tickets per person.

Once you have booked, watch for the automated email with instructions on how to download the event information, or see our website help page.
