Amazing accommodation and food was fantastic. Great guides and lovely group of ladies. It was lovely to be out doors and the orchids had started to come out.

Hello! I am a retired “ex-schoolie” who was introduced to the Track in 2003 and have been volunteering with the BTF since 2004. Starting as a maintenance volunteer for Canning campsite, I became a volunteer guide and an office volunteer. I have completed four end-to-ends, including the first registered “double e-e”. Whether it’s planning a walk, cleaning ‘my’ campsite, pruning track-side vegetation, carrying my pack on Track, or simply sitting around a campfire chatting to other walkers, I love all aspects of “Bibbulmun Therapy”!

Just call me Barb! I am originally from Switzerland. I moved for good to Australia at the end of 2013. Why? The Bibbulmun Track called me back! I walked this fabulous hiking track end2end solo in autumn 2010 in regard to a review and preview of life. In Switzerland I used to be a lecturer for physical education at the Swiss Federal Institute of Sport and here in Perth I am doing a PhD in physical education science. Physical activities have always been part of my life and I like to infect others with my passion for being physically active as part of the divine nature. I look forward to walking with you!
