Booking Form

Head down to Balingup for a two-day guided walking break.

Carrying only your day pack, we walk 40km over the two days.

We set off very early on Saturday morning and begin our walk in a small patch of karri forest. Then we follow rail formations and walk through mixed jarrah forest on our way to the Blackwood River.

At the end of the first day you are transported back to Balingup to make your way to your accommodation.

On Sunday we meet in Balingup and then transferred back to where you left off, tackling the ascent to Blackwood campsite, walking back with the guides into Balingup.

You can choose and book your own accommodation in town and we recommend that you arrive on Friday night so you can be ready for the early departure on Saturday morning.

Includes guides and bus transfer to start of walk and back to Balingup both days. Does not include transport to Balingup, food or accommodation.

We strongly suggest that you book your own accommodation for both nights before making this booking. Note that refunds will not be made if you fail to secure accommodation.

Walkers must be in Balingup town centre on Saturday morning for a 6.30am departure.

We suggest that you visit the Balingup Visitor Centre's website for accommodation options.

This walk is held in conjuction with the Balingup Explorer where we glamp out instead of staying in accommodation.

Hi, I have been bitten by the hiking bug and enjoy anything from a leisurely jaunt to a multiple day hike through our wonderful bush. I have enjoyed walking and hiking interstate and overseas and feel so lucky to have the Bibbulmun Track as a fantastic escape to nature right on our doorstep. I’ve managed several end-to-ends and have enjoyed many stretches on multiple occasions. I have met a number of wonderful people along the way and hope to be able to experience walking with you soon.

Hi folks. I have been with the Foundation since 1997, when I first joined as a member and maintenance volunteer. I wanted to get involved in the 'new' Track after getting terribly lost on the 'old' Bibbulmun Track. From there I began leading walks and then came on staff in the office in 1999 as Events Manager and Lead Guide. I love walking and have done a few end-to-ends. I really get a kick out of sharing this passion with everyone. I am still a volunteer and look after Nerang Campsite. Come and join me on this event!
