One of our most popular weekend events – this is the next level up from our Bibbulmun Trek for Beginners. It is set in the beautiful yet challenging Blackwood district.

Experienced guides will instruct and support you in overnight trekking based on a typical distance walked during a day on the Bibbulmun Track.

Spend Friday night in Balingup before being transported 40kms south for two full days of walking with packs back to town, with a touch of glamping on Saturday night at our private Track-side campsite complete with flushing toilet and a hot shower!

Your backpack will contain your food, clothes and fuel stove, but your tent, sleeping mat and sleeping bag will be waiting for you to set up at our private camp on the Bibbulmun Track.

Freshen up on Sunday afternoon with a hot shower in Balingup before being transported to Perth.

So much fun, really well organised and just a very enjoyable weekend all round.

Includes comprehensive planning night, trip preparation manual, map, return transport from Murdoch Park'n'Ride rail terminal and bus transfer to start of walk, transfer of your sleeping gear (tent, sleeping bag and sleeping mat only) to the Track-side campsite plus accommodation on Friday night, showers on Saturday and Sunday and equipment hire. Food not included.

Steve's welcoming and friendly disposition, his willingness to share his bush knowledge with the group contributed greatly to the overall satisfying experience the weekend was. These events are a must for my future annual program of things to do. Jennifer – event participant

Earlybird prices expire early August or when no longer available.

Hi folks. I have been with the Foundation since 1997, when I first joined as a member and maintenance volunteer. I wanted to get involved in the 'new' Track after getting terribly lost on the 'old' Bibbulmun Track. From there I began leading walks and then came on staff in the office in 1999 as Events Manager and Lead Guide. I love walking and have done a few end-to-ends. I really get a kick out of sharing this passion with everyone. I am still a volunteer and look after Nerang Campsite. Come and join me on this event!

Hi there, Isabel here. I've been a member since 2004 when I walked the Track end-to-end in the wettest August ever! I am also a maintenance volunteer looking after Frankland River Campsite near Walpole. I love been a volunteer guide and being able to share my passion with others.
