“It is an old dream of mine to walk the Pacific Crest Trail but it would take too long.  The Bibbulmun Track offers the same type of remote, challenging experience but also has a really good structure with shelters which give a certain degree of comfort. I have walked the French and Portugese Camino  The Bibbulmun Track is harder with elevation but better on the legs as there’s only about five kilometres of sealed road. The most ugly parts of the Bibb are similar to the most beautiful parts of the French Camino. Hiking the Track was the most complex and challenging part of my 16 month trip.  It took me 48 days and I lost 17kgs during this time – I have my young body back!
