Reaching the shelter at the end of the day and the company of your shelter buddies.
Personal Reactions
The track helped me come to terms with a lot of baggage I’d been carrying for the last few years. I have become a more patient and tolerant person. Nature is a wonderful thing.
Wildlife
It took a while for me to see my first snake. They became a daily thing after the first. Kangaroos seemed to be fearless of walkers.
Your Best Equipment
My best equipment was my walking poles. Kept me upright most of the time.
Your Worst Equipment
I can’t fault any of my equipment as it performed as expected.
