General Comments
We joined the foundation and began walking the Bibbulmun Track back in 2007, deciding to finish our sectional E2E this year in a solid 34 days, one shelter/day at a time.
Food/Supplies Comments
We dehydrated our meals, boxed all our food and had it delivered to Visitors Centres in track town by family members. Our food quantities were spot on, no leftovers!
Favourite Section
Pemberton to Warren was lovely, lush dense forest, loved the leaf litter, moss covering and tree tunnels.
Warren campsite sits high with great view of the Karri trees and has an abundance of bird life.
Highlights
Seeing colourful wildflowers, vastness of Pingrup Plains, Torbay campsite, walking Mazzoletti beach, Tingle & Karri trees, foggy sunrise in Warren shelter and falling asleep to sound of water and noisy frogs.
Personal Reactions
Happy to finish after experiencing painful blister days but I didn’t give up. Very mixed feelings after completing, my feet felt relieved, but my legs just wanted to “keep on walking”.
Wildlife
Inquisitive emus, kangaroos, snakes, sleepy bobtails, seals, fairy wrens, noisy black cockatoos and one cheeky chocolate eating mouse.
Your Best Equipment
Luci light
Your Worst Equipment
Hiking shoes (old/need replacement, caused of blisters)
Advice for Others
