General Comments
What a beautiful track! I really enjoyed my walk. Thank you to all the volunteers for maintaining this track.
Food/Supplies Comments
I had no problem to buy food in the track towns. Also got some food from other hikers who had too much food.
Favourite Section
Enjoyed the whole track, but remember seeing the ocean for the first time as a big highlight.
Highlights
The friendly people I met on the track. Spotting the many beautiful orchids. Completing the section between North Bannister to Albany in 7 weeks even though I had a huge blister on my heel.
Personal Reactions
My best holiday ever was when I (solo) did the section from North Bannister to Albany in 2016. In 2019 I walked the last section from North Bannister to Kalamunda with my boyfriend. Happy to show him the track.
Wildlife
Remember I went from spotting orchids to spot snakes in one of the southern sections. Also saw kangaroos, emus, cockatoos, blue wren, dolphins.

I didn’t have any worst equipment.
Advice for Others
Buy some good equipment, do smaller walks, get to know your equipment and body and just do it!
