General Comments
As it took 4 years to complete because we only walked in the cooler months and we could only get 4 days of at a time due to work commitments. I looked forward to the start of trekking season and getting back on the track to enjoy all the experiences and challenges that it throws at you.
Food/Supplies Comments
As we only walked for 4 days at a time we ate like Kings. Bacon and eggs for breakfast , steak for dinner washed down with a couple of wines.
Favourite Section
It’s very hard to pick one section as I really did enjoy the whole track from the start to the finish but if I had to pick one it would be the Darling Range.
Highlights
Whale watching at Peaceful bay and camping at Chadoora. It was freezing night, we had a fire and lots of laughs. The next morning it was misty and the forest was magnificent.
Personal Reactions
It’s refreshing to take time out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just to enjoy nature. You get plenty of time to think and if you have any issues on your mind it is usually sorted out on the track.

Pretty much everything you can think of.

Doing the track over 4 years I had some pretty bad equipment along the way. But as is always the case I had it all dialed in at the end.
Advice for Others
Make sure your equipment is the best that you can afford.
