General Comments

As always enjoyed this walk.  Lots of people about.  Impressed with the new Helena shelter and the extension of Swamp Oak.  It was good to see increasing numbers of people walking around Wilson Inlet.

Food/Supplies Comments

Usual wide selection of dehydrated tidbits.  I am doing a new line featuring cup a soup combined with dried products.

Highlights

Found a young black red-tail cockatoo which had crash landed in the pine plantation south of Dwellingup.  It did not know how to get mobile again.  Made a parcel for it in my pack cover and raincoat - then onto Parks and Wildlife, then to the Pinjarra Vets.  Last I heard the bird was at the rehabilitation section at the Perth Zoo, where it’s been taught how to eat.

Wildlife

The usual - black swans on Wilson Inlet where unbelievable.  I thought there are thousands of them. Wrong - there were thousands and thousands of them.
