General Comments
Well done to all involved in this track.outstanding scenery all along the track. Shelters are a great bonus. Work done by volunteers on track maintenance to be cheered, well done.
Food/Supplies Comments
Plenty of supply towns with all I needed along the way.
Favourite Section
All of it. Each section has its own stunning scenery.
Highlights
Having brother and sister in-law hike in to meet up with me for night. Climbing the Gloucester Tree 40 years after I first climbed it. Having my brother walk the last bit with me.
Personal Reactions
Found the track too popular but still managed to find areas of the isolation I love.
Wildlife
Snakes, emus ,kangaroos, more snakes, uncounted bird life, bobtails, wallabies, unknown and finally more snakes.
Your Best Equipment
All was good. Walking poles saved a few falls and all else worked out well.
Your Worst Equipment
Blow up pillow with a slow leak. A few extra puffs thru night but no big deal.
Advice for Others
Enjoy the differing landscapes along the way. Each has a beauty of its own. Don’t hurry and do it in spring for the wildflowers
