General Comments
A truly great walk. Loved every day. Loved the variety and changing environments. The standard of the track and the 2facilities where great. The track was so well routed to stay in bush. Can’t think of anything I would criticise.
Food/Supplies Comments
I resupplied in track towns. I found towns didn’t always have what I wanted i.e. freeze fried mince, but I could always find something to get me through to the next town.
Favourite Section
How can you limit to one section. I would be hard pressed to name a section I didn’t like.
Highlights
The people you meet on the track. Hearing where they have walked, the reasons they are doing the track. Seeing the different equipment people use and the different food they take.
Personal Reactions
I found the experience very peaceful and very relaxing.I was surprised on walking into Albany I found I was getting very annoyed with the traffic noise.
Wildlife
The birds. I carried a bird handbook and binoculars as I was keen to see the WA endemic birds. Saw some beauties - Splendid Fairy Wren, Western Spinebill, 28 Parrots, Red Tailed and White Tailed Black Cockatoos, Western Rosella, Western Whistler plus more.

Advice for Others
Go slow, stop at every hut and spend as much time as possible on the track. Give yourself time to slowdown and get into the peace and tranquillity of the forest - you don’t get a medal for doing it in 30 days.
