General Comments
Previously did some sections of the “old” Bibbulmun Track in the late 80’s - early 90’s. Some sections of the “new’ Track done in 2009 & 2013. Finally had the time to do the whole Track in one go!
Food/Supplies Comments
Carried two weeks worth of food and supplies from Kalamunda to Dwellingup. After that we resupplied in the towns.
Favourite Section
No favourites, they were all good!
Highlights
The sheer variety of landscapes and natural environments. The karri and red tingle forests. The views from the hills and high points along the south coast.
Personal Reactions
A fantastic hike, made all the better by being able to share it with my brother.
Wildlife
Snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs, feral pigs, feral cat, birds.
Your Best Equipment
Stockpile boot socks (85% wool).
Your Worst Equipment
AM/FM/SW radio with DSP - useless.
Advice for Others
Take your time - stay two days in every town.
