General Comments
Thank you to the Bibbulmun Track Foundation, the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attraction’s Parks and Wildlife Service, and all of the Volunteers who make it possible for us to continue to walk the Bibbulmun Track. I felt very privileged to have access to so much nature.
Food/Supplies Comments
I did the food in a fuel stove workshop with Steve and this helped me prepare my own dehydrated meals. Debs helped to add the gourmet options.
Favourite Section
Loved it all but the Northcliffe to Walpole gave a diversity that was memorable. From granite outcrops to the flats, wading and then on to the ocean and sand dunes. So many WOW moments.
Highlights
Meeting other walkers on the Track, all with their own reasons for walking (or running). I met some lovely people who have made a lasting impression on me and continue to inspire me. Also walking alone and soaking up the beauty of the scenery around me.
Wildlife
Kangaroos use the Track more than people. Loved seeing their tracks. I generally saw more wildlife in the southern section, always a highlight.
Your Best Equipment
Pack, poles and comfortable OBOZ boots.
Your Worst Equipment
My tent was bulky, heavy and not always waterproof.
Advice for Others
Walk your own walk.
