General Comments
A great challenge - the shelters were amazing and made the journey possible. A big thanks to all volunteers and all who have involvement and the Foundation. The Track is a great resource.
Food/Supplies Comments
We posted food to towns but could adequately stock up with all we needed.
Favourite Section
Balingup to Pemberton, the Tingle trees south of Walpole.
Highlights
The glorious karri, marri and tingle forests. Gorgeous river valleys around Donnelly River.
Personal Reactions
Loved the serenity of the forests. Disappointed that it rained so much in the north.
Wildlife
Beautiful flowers - didn’t like the snakes.
Your Best Equipment
Boots, poles. Wet weather gear (it was so wet).
Your Worst Equipment
Tent (ended up sending it home).
Advice for Others
Take your time, plan well, be flexible.
