General Comments

I found this Track six days before I started. I looked on the website and I know this Track called me. Not one day I was thinking it was a bad idea. It was the best decision in my life to walk the Bibbulmun. I meet a lot of amazing people and saw a lot of amazing animals, trees and other plants. I really loved it.

Food/Supplies Comments

I live on a cup-of-soup with couscous, or rice noodles. Create my bush-sushi with nori sheets and couscous with dried fish. For breakfast I have my tea and my muesli. From time to time I spoiled myself with chocolate. And in the towns I get hollow legs and eat a lot.

Favourite Section

Kalamunda to Albany including Wellington Dam section. The whole Track have a different charm for me and is hard to make a decision for only one short part of it.

Highlights

Blackwood Shelter with my shooting star and the amazing starry sky, the nice looking valley in the morning and Sandpatch with my first sunrising-rainbow it was fantastic. And the amazing people on my way.

Personal Reactions

I liked both to be by myself and I liked to meet other people. To listen all this stories and to have open ears to listen to my story. It was amazing that people helped me a lot and became like Track angels for me.

Wildlife

Frogs, brush wallabies, grey western roos, twenty eights, rosellas, blue and fairy wrens, emus, (only two) snakes, honey possum, and lots lots more.

Your Best Equipment

My The Legend of Zelda Notebook, because I write a lot.

Your Worst Equipment

My backpack cover for “Buddy” (my backpack) was the worst.

Advice for Others

If you have time hike it, have fun and respect the others.  It give no better way to see a country like to walk it.
Take only memories (and pictures) and leave nothing only footprints.
The Track provides for you, if you believe and go crazy is nothing wrong on it. Don’t give up on a bad day.
And special Cowgirl wisdom to the end: keep walking wizzy.
