General Comments
My end to end was amazing and I am so grateful for the existence of the track and being able to do the whole thing at a young age and meet so many great people. I endeavor to get back to the track every year.
Favourite Section
The whole south of the track from Donnelly River, but especially from Walpole to Denmark.
Highlights
The amazing people I met, the endless breathtaking scenery and having so much time to myself.
Personal Reactions
I was surprised at how much i loved walking everyday and how fit i became.
Wildlife
83 tiger snakes, 32 Dugites, 1 Death Adder, 8 Western Crown Snakes, 1 Bardick, 14 Brush-tail wallabies, 2 Quakkas, 1 Bandicoot, numerous roos, 2 Brush-tail Possums, 1 Echidna, 7 Heath Monitors, 3 emus and too many other birds to mention.
Your Best Equipment
My Scarpa boots and Exped mattress
Your Worst Equipment
My Sea to Summit pillow which i patched 5 times and my Mammut backpack which was too heavy and broke 3 times.
Advice for Others
Pack light and always carry emergency coffee and chocolate.
