Don’t take too much food especially in the beginning.

Supply in DRV is poor so please plan ahead

Personal Reactions
I was absolutely stunned by this experience. Seeing the nature change every day around you but most importantly the personal change and the connection with your surroundings was just magical
Wildlife
We saw lots of different animals and soon I started greeting and talking to them Hello Mr Kookaburra, Good morning Mr Kangaroo…
It was beautiful seeing them so close
Your Best Equipment
Sleeping bag liner and thermals, walking sticks from somewhere near White Horse … they supported us until the Southern Terminus
Your Worst Equipment
Sleeping bag which wasn’t warm enough until I bought a liner in Collie
