General Comments
A fantastic positive experience in which I took a month and a half off from the madness of society. My lovely wife joined me from Walpole to Albany. Thank you very much volunteers.
Food/Supplies Comments
I took a chance and just picked up whatever was available in track towns, no complaints.
Favourite Section
No favourite, I enjoyed it all immensely.
Highlights
The green roof that appears through the trees, the sun on my back as I stroll past towering karri trees, West Cape Howe campsite.
Personal Reactions
The extreme solitude took some getting used to, meeting other walkers was welcome.
Wildlife
Great close up experiences with a quokka, quenda and the rousing chorus of red-tailed black cockatoos.
Your Best Equipment
My 10 year old Macpac down sleeping bag.
Your Worst Equipment
Everything else, boots, cooker, inflatable mat.
Advice for Others
Get old equipment checked and serviced. Be creative with meal ideas, learn to shrug your shoulders and get on with it when the rain falls and the thunder and lightening start crashing around! End to Ending is perhaps more mental than physical.
