I am very happy that I did this walk at an early stage in my life. I believe that the things you learn doing a walk like this should be a part of every young person’s education.

Personal Reactions
I was suprised by how simple life can be. I didn’t get bored once.
Wildlife
I was surprised at the small amount of marsupials we saw. The bird life was amazing.
Your Best Equipment
Backpack and two hip bags.
Your Worst Equipment
Diver’s knife - too heavy.
Advice for Others
Talk to other walkers before you go to the outdoor stores. It will save you a lot of money and grief. The more you rough it the better your walk will be.
