General Comments
Found that all the shelters and most of the Track was very well maintained by both Vollies and DEC. The transition between sea to Karri/Jarrah was exciting. Well maintained Track great walk.
Food/Supplies Comments
Easy to buy supplies in town and posting a “town box” was a great idea with clean clothes etc.
Favourite Section
Donnelly River, Blackwood.
Highlights
Full moon at Waalegh. Waking up to cacophony of bird calls at Mt Clare. Just walking the Track was a highlight in itself.
Personal Reactions
Best thing I’ve ever done- challenge for the mind and body.
Wildlife
Snakes down south and kangaroos, emus, possums,quenda and a bush rat.
Your Best Equipment
Colm - he was my chief cook and bottle washer.
Your Worst Equipment
None, used every thing we brought along thanks to advice from Elsie
in the office.
Advice for Others
Just do it but get advice from the E to E at Bibbulmun Foundation first.
