Personal Reactions
As I did most of the Track solo. I was surprised at how lonely I got at night when not seeing anybody for a few days.
Wildlife
Trout in the Donnelly & Franklin Rivers. Eagles at Blackwood.
Your Best Equipment
A small pillow, my pack, a small radio, Thermarest mattress and gas cooker.
Your Worst Equipment
Small candle and raincoat.
Advice for Others
If you are doing the hike in the cooler months wear thermal clothing and make sure your pack has a water proof cover.
