General Comments
It was a fantastic adventure which gave us many special views and insights into our wonderful state.
Food/Supplies Comments
We pre-planned all our food and supplies, approximately every 4 days we were resupplied and it worked very well.
Favourite Section
West Cape Howe to Torbay (I love coastal walking).
Highlights
The people. We had fantastic people supporting us (planned and surprises) which together with the people we met on the track (including Jim ‘The Mad Axeman’ Freeman made it such a special experience.
Personal Reactions
It was a personal challenge, a personal odyssey even though we were a group of 4, one which was very satisfying.
Wildlife
Good cross section (incl Russell the Quenda at Torbay) but not large, surprised by the number of emus we saw.
Your Best Equipment
Walking poles.
Your Worst Equipment
None.
Advice for Others
We had a clear concept of how we like to enjoy our walking, and we planned and trained thoroughly to ensure a great outcome - recommend others do the same.
