General Comments
We faced taxing stormy conditions on the south coast. Excellent team spirits and leadership.
Well placed rest days, joyful community welcomes, very nice wildflower display along the way.
Food/Supplies Comments
Food drops were plentiful and well organised.
Favourite Section
Peaceful Bay/Rame Head/Conspicuous Cliffs.
Highlights
Campfires and team talks at campsites. The flowers on the summits of hills, Mt Cooke, etc. The changing vista and forests.
Personal Reactions
Felt the going was tough until I got a pack fit at about Walpole. Then the exercise and personal endurance and organisation became a habit
Wildlife
In particular special sightings of an echidna, eagle, whales, snakes.

Backpack, poles, Gortex, thermals.
Your Worst Equipment
Heavy in weight meals.
Advice for Others
Pack light, take short steps till well along the way. Buy the right type of equipment, eg quick drying shirts/shorts, gortex, etc
