General Comments
I really appreciate the time, effort and commitment the volunteers give to enable us to enjoy such a wonderful walk!
Food/Supplies Comments
As good as our dehydrated meals were, a pub meal was always enjoyed when we got to town. Buying fresh food for the next few lunches also added to the variety!
Favourite Section
Every section had its own highlights! The karri forests and tingle trees were both amazing!
Highlights
There was more variety, diversity and unexpected highlights then I expected. The range of spectacular flowers and plants, small and larger places to enjoy a paddle or swim, old mine areas to explore, blessings from unexpected track angels, and many wonderful people we met.
Personal Reactions
I loved the rhythm of our daily routine, and to expect the unexpected!
Your Best Equipment
Dan Durston X-mid tent, helinox chair zero, and swimmers.
Your Worst Equipment
I had a water bladder malfunction, which was easily replaced in the next town.
Advice for Others
To keep our weight down, at each town we posted off things we no longer needed eg maps, extra clothing etc.
