Loved the time with family and friends, but also deeply appreciated the time alone. What a blessing to have a track like this in my home state of WA.
Wildlife
I loved seeing the wildlife, especially wallabies in the Darling Ranges
Your Best Equipment
My old Coleman stove and Totonka pack have been with me most of this journey, and my Big Agnes air mattress was a welcome addition for the second half.
Your Worst Equipment
My very old self-inflating mat.
Advice for Others
Do it with friends and family, but if they’re unavailable, get out there on your own. Time alone in the bush is never time wasted.
