General Comments
What I enjoyed the most with this track is that the scenery changes slowly and adapts to myenergy rhythm. And also all the meetings I made on the track so it was a very social one rather as a lonely one as I expected. The scenery was very beautiful and the wildflowers (orchids) magic.
Food/Supplies Comments
I didn’t organise food drops, just bought some in towns and always ate at the pub!
Favourite Section
Peaceful Bay to Boat Harbour.
Highlights
Sunrise with mist on Blackwood shelter, sunrise on top of Gloucester Tree, the first sight of the ocean, the wonderful orchids.
Personal Reactions
I hope Blackwood campsite will reopen soon, because its one of the best to me.
Wildlife
Carpet python, tiger snakes, kangaroo, wallabies, emus, blue tongue, goanna, possum, drop bears, stinging insects…...
Your Best Equipment
My aussie hat with feathers found along the track.
Your Worst Equipment
My sleeping mat - I had none!
