General Comments
This was my wife’s walk (on her terms and at her pace). Despite 4 falls and gashing her head she persisted and was stronger in every sense of the word by the time we reached Albany. She is already talking about doing it again, only South to North
Food/Supplies Comments
Fairly standard dehydrated vegies, rice, pasta and porridge, except for our “rocket fuel” (water, milk whey, glucosamine, ovaltine & sometimes sustagen) with rice biscuits, vegimite & cheese, sometimes chocolate for lunch,

Highlights
Metting bernice Calvin and daughter Prue at Waalegh. Spending our 45th Anniversary at Gringer Creek with family & friends. Being assisted by wonderful people - Chris Piggford (a vollie) at Helena; Richard Baldwin and wife who gave us a lift into Walpole when Mary gashed her head. Aussie Barton, caretaker at Parry Beach. Meeting Steve Sertis and Jim Freeman at Mt Hallowell and other kindred souls on the track. Wonderful scenery especially along the coast.
Wildlife
Kangaroos, possums, woylie, bandicoots, emu, fox, bobtail, snakes, many species of birds, dolphins and seals. Didn’t sight any but lots of evidence of feral cats and pigs.
Your Worst Equipment
My old backpack. The belt stitching came apart .I borrowed a needle and twine from Chris Piggford at Helena - restitched it and then it lasted okay.
Advice for Others
Train with a pack prior to your E2E, keep your pack as light as possible and take your time.
