We supplied our own food in advance and mailed ahead - worked very well.
Favourite Section
Pingerup Plains - unusual plants in an almost unearthly landscape - truly unique and fascinating.
Personal Reactions
Very hard to resume the walk after it was interrupted in 2005 by an unexpected death in the family, but glad we did.
Wildlife
We saw quenda at three different campsites - a real treat.
Your Best Equipment
Walking sticks and super lightweight backpack.
Your Worst Equipment
All good - even the 30 year old camping stove!
Advice for Others
Avoid large school groups if possible. While generally polite, they really take over and are hard to avoid. Don’t ‘Double hut’ - enjoy the flowers!
