General Comments

A fantastic experience to visit WA’s bushland. To be constantly surrounded by nature as well as seeing the changes in the environment as we travelled to Albany. Great journey to support a charity. (The Grey Man). These extra few dollars do go towards better equipment.

Food/Supplies Comments

Wish I had more variety with food.

Favourite Section

Monadnocks to Nerang and Balingup to Blackwood.

Highlights

Seeing the ocean/southern coast for the first time on Christmas day! Enjoying the walk with a number of great people we met on the Track.

Personal Reactions

Challenging, a sense of relief when arriving at Southern Terminus.

Wildlife

Few snakes, many kangaroos and emus. Wildlife at Donnelly River is great to be close with animals.

Your Best Equipment

Backpack & walking sticks (tree branches).

Advice for Others

Preparation and patience!
