General Comments
A well set up and maintained walking track that is a credit to all concerned, especially the volunteers who look after shelters and trails. A model that other states would do well to follow.
Food/Supplies Comments
Re-stocked in each town as we went through. No problems doing this, though some places (Donnelly River) there was not too much variety.
Favourite Section
Northcliffe to Walpole.
Highlights
The beautiful wildflowers - the friendly interesting people we met along the way.
Personal Reactions
We had a great time. The walking lived up to our expectations.
Wildlife
Not as much as we expected.
Your Best Equipment
Our trusty tent, it kept out the cold firstly and later the mozzies.
Your Worst Equipment
Graeme’s walking boots, the sole came away at about
the 450 km mark.
Advice for Others
Prepare well, don’t take too much, enjoy it!
