Due to circumstances had to do trip in two main sections. Would have preferred to do in one.

Don’t take too much food and it can pay to post food ahead.

Peaceful Bay to Walpole.
Highlights
Sunday roast at the Northcliffe Hotel. Roast pork and 11 vegetables was beyond compare.

Finished walk happier and healthier than have been for a long time.

Trangia (silent, efficent, no moving parts).
Your Worst Equipment
Sleeping bag, not warm enough!!!

Buy the best quality lightest equipment possible, don’t be frightened to travel alone.
