General Comments
Everyone involved in the conception, implementation and maintenance of the Track deserve the highest praise. The Track is a credit to WA and Australia. It needs very little improvement, by the way, despite what some might say!
Food/Supplies Comments
Dehydrated our own evening meals and posted to required pick up points. Bought what we could at towns - some towns don’t have large range of hiker needs.
Favourite Section
Each section of the Track is beautiful in its own right.
Highlights
Tall trees, birds, wildflowers, orchids and the grandly spectacular coastal section from Mandalay to Albany.
Personal Reactions
Its a long walk from Perth to Albany and the inner journey is even longer.
Wildlife
Did not see much, probably too wet only about 6 fine days!!!
Your Best Equipment
Its all good, but you’ve got to carry it!!
