Thoroughly enjoyed walking the Track. Was disappointed not to be able to do the Mt Cooke section due to closure.

Adequate resupply available except North Bannister.

Monadnocks to Canning.
Highlights
Surviving 45 C day on the South Coast. Being invited to play in a tennis tournament at Balingup.
Personal Reactions
Coped with the solitude OK. Enjoyed the fraternity when I did share shelters.
Wildlife
Being a New Zealander I was not keen about the snakes but after seeing 4 or 5 a day for the first three weeks I got comfortable.
Your Worst Equipment
One boot started losing its sole! Fishing line kept me going.

Get out there and enjoy this wonderful, well maintained and well signed walking experience.
