General Comments

As I am writing this I am about to send 12 rolls of film home to be developed so I can pick them up as soon as possible. Hopeful they will do more justice to the track for my friends and family than my words will ever will.

Food/Supplies Comments

Nothing beats our pre packed red lentils curry and coconut.
Soul satisfying after walking all day, especially in the rain.

Favourite Section

Boat Harbour to Denmark, White Horse Hill , Donnelly River, West Cape Howe to Torbay. Too hard, so many.

Highlights

The view from the hill with mist all around. I felt like we were the only people for miles and it was completely invigorating, it bought tears to my eyes, it was so beautiful.

Personal Reactions

It felt so natural to live such a relatively simple life removed from the everyday bombardment o f social pressures and market driven world.

Wildlife

Birds, snakes.

Your Best Equipment

Hand me down backpack.  Hiking tent to shelter from the mosquitoes.

Advice for Others

Pack: weight and quality of food can make a huge difference to your enjoyment on the track. Take a tent.
