General Comments

A great experience, the shelters in some areas were overcrowded & too small.  Would like to see a sign before each campsite showing 1 km to go.  Perhaps even number some point (waugals) for easier reference.

Food/Supplies Comments

Took my own food parcels.  Found supplies limited on the track.

Favourite Section

Pemberton area to Donnelly River.

Highlights

Walking from Beavis into Karri Valley resort for a stay and a shower.

Personal Reactions

I was surprised how fit one can get over time and how easy the walk was.

Wildlife

Few kangaroos, lots of birds, heard what I thought was probably feral pigs and a few emus.

Your Best Equipment

Mountain Design two man tent.

Your Worst Equipment

Camp booties.  (By the end they stank).

Advice for Others

Always take a tent as shelters in the northern sections can be very busy - especially during weekends and holidays.
