General Comments
Enjoyed leaving reflections in the Red Journal as “Batty & Babu”- Bards of the Bush. CALM & FOBT do a fabulous job maintaining track/shelters.
Food/Supplies Comments
Posted our own dehydrated packs to some towns and purchased as needed. North Bannister and Balingup poor supplies.
Favourite Section
Northclilffe to Walpole and Denmark to Albany. Loved the diversity of forests, bogs, dunes.
Highlights
Camaraderie along the track at shelters. Seeing the Mandalay wreck uncovered.

Wildlife
Bandicoots, tiger snakes got real close.
Your Best Equipment
First walk with trekking poles. Great through swamps, inlet crossings. Saved knees uphill and downhill.

Plan well, enjoy the journey, take time to “smell the flowers”
