Getting the first glimpse of the shelter through the trees at the end of a hard walk. The wildlife, arriving at “Badger Road” between Pemberton & Warren
Personal Reactions
Blown away by the scenery, sunsets, serenity of the bush. Surprised at how quickly we adapted to making do without the trappings and luxuries of modern living

Roos, quendas, possum, wild boar, emus, wallabies, snakes, geckos, and a big fat lizard

Sleeping bag was not warm enough, it got very chilly out there sometimes.
Advice for Others
Don’t under-estimate your food and supplies needed for long stretches.
Think carefully when packing, avoid tinned products. Don’t worry too much about fitness (you will be fit by the time you finish), kill or cure it certainly worked for us.
Don’t say I would love to do an End to End but .....excuses, excuses.
Don’t turn your walk into a military operation ot it stops being fun and starts becoming a chore.
