The Bibbulmun track Foundation is hosting a 3-day Wilderness First Aid course through our sponsor, Wilderness First Aid Consultants (WFAC) on the March long-weekend. Fun, practical and loaded with scenarios, this is a well-rounded introduction to the field of Wilderness First Aid for bushwalkers, climbers, paddlers and those who find themselves out and about.
This course covers all of the essential topics while running you through a number of scenarios to become familiar with concepts. It also offers an adult CPR component so will set you up well to deal with a variety of patients in the outdoors.
You will be issued with Wilderness First Aid (WFA) Certification valid for three years as well as a CPR Certification valid for one year. During this course you will have a written and practical CPR/EAR assessment component. You will also be critiqued on your performance during scenarios to ensure understanding of basic principles.
Located in Mundaring, 50min from Perth.
Date: Saturday 3rd to Monday 5th March (long weekend), 8am to approx. 4pm daily.
