Why the Bibbulmun Track?
'Going bush' has a rejuvenating effect on people and provides an exceptional opportunity to interact in a fun, non-threatening environment. Our group activities give you the opportunity to experience the peace and serenity of our natural surroundings and rediscover what they have to offer you.
Group activities are designed to:
- Promote team spirit
- Build positive relationships
- Help you feel confident and comfortable in a bush setting
- Promote personal and physical well-being
- Refine mental and physical aptitude
- Develop communication amongst participants
- Foster social interaction
- Enhance appreciation of the natural environment, historical and cultural heritage
- Be fun!
Bushwalking is one of the best vehicles for achieving these goals. The low-impact and non-competitive characteristics of walking, coupled with the feeling of ‘escaping’ to nature, is conducive to people talking and relating outside the office environment as well as encouraging healthier minds and bodies.
Group activities don’t have to be all about walking. You may wish to include team-building games, interact with our native animals, or even visit a camel farm! All our walks include interpretive guiding that covers flora and fauna, Aboriginal and settler heritage, survival skills and wilderness medicine.
Our one and two day activities will give you a small taste of this magnificent walking track. From a leisurely one-day stroll through the hills close to Perth, to a challenging two-day trek near the beautiful Blackwood River, we offer something for groups of all ages and ability.
