The Bibbulmun Track is the longest walking trail in Western Australia, winding its way over 900km from the foothills of Perth through Jarrah and Karri Forests to the rugged coastline of Albany. This trek visits some of the most spectacular sections in the forests and along the coast of the far South West.

Competition Terms and Conditions

  • Every person who joins as a new member of a 2007 Great Australian Bushwalk (GAB) organisation between 1 August 2007 and 31 October 2007 will receive one competition entry per organisation joined
  • Partner organisations of the 2007 GAB include: National Parks Association (NPA) NSW, Victorian NPA, NPA Queensland, NPA ACT, Tasmanian NPA, Nature Conservation Society of SA, Bibbulmun Track Foundation (WA), Darwin Bushwalking Club (NT), Myall Koala and Environmental Support Group, Western Walking Club and Damleny Narooma Bushwalkers.
  • Participation on a 2007 GAB walk is not required for entry into the competition
  • We protect your privacy. Membership details provided by a GAB organisation will be used only for awarding prizes for this competition
  • Winners will be drawn on Friday 16 November, 10 am at the offices of the National Parks Association NSW, Level 9, 91 York St, Sydney 2000. Winners will be contacted by phone/email on 19 November 2007 and announced on the GAB event website www.greataustralianbushwalk.org.au on 19 November 2007
  • Winners in South Australia will be advertised in the Adelaide Advertiser on Thursday 29 November 2007
  • No cash alternatives will be provided
  • The World Expeditions holiday prize is a trip for two on a WORLD EXPEDITIONS 7 day Bibbulmun Track trek, excluding flights, and is valued at approx $3590. The prize includes land content of the Bibbulmun Track trip, departing Perth, as advertised in the World Expeditions Australian Walking Holidays brochure 2007. Travel is valid until and including 18 March 2008. Travel is subject to availability minimum numbers. All bookings must be booked directly with your nearest World Expeditions office. The prize is not transferable to another person, any other World Expeditions trip or redeemable for cash. The prize is not transferable to any other World Expeditions trip or redeemable for cash
  • While we will endeavour to provide prizes in sizes requested by the winners, specific sizes cannot be guaranteed
  • Prizes can be posted only to addresses within Australia
  • Staff of GAB organisations and their immediate families are not eligible to enter
  • GAB partner organisations accept no liability for loss or damage occurring while using the prizes. Prize winners accept and use the prizes at their own risk
  • Winners have 3 months to claim their prize
  • If there are not enough entrants in a particular State to claim that State's allocated prizes, the unclaimed prizes will be reallocated at the promoter's discretion
  • Prizes unclaimed by 18 February 2008 will be reallocated in a 2nd chance redraw at 10am on that day at the offices of the National Parks Association NSW, Level 9, 91 York St, Sydney 2000.
